Ordering Standard + Non-Standard Equipment
Dell has retired ordering equipment through Service Now. You can now submit your request on Inside Dell.
From Inside Dell:
1. Go to https://inside.dell.com
2. Click My IT in the top nav
3. Click Order Something
4. Click Personal Computing & Mobility dropdown
5. Click Desktops, Notebooks & Accessories
Order a Standard Accessory & Peripheral: This is where you can replace equipment that is standard for your system (wireless mouse, dock, standard headset, wired keyboard, standard monitor, etc.).
Order a Non-Standard Accessories & Peripherals: This is where you can order things outside standard equipment (wireless keyboard, adaptors, etc.). Review the Dell website to find the equipment you need and include the quantity, Part/SKU number, product name and cost.
Once your request is submitted, your manager will need to approve it via email.
*Round Rock team members: Standard equipment can usually be picked up within a day or two - you will receive an email from the RR2E mailroom when ready. Non-Standing equipment will take longer to order and is usually available in a week. Non-Standard equipment is delivered to RR2W mailroom - they try to deliver to your desk area, but with desk hoteling, it may be difficult.
