DAO’s sock drive in support of Triumphant Warrior kicks off Monday, November 4th and goes through Friday, November 8th. We need your donation which will provide a little extra joy for cancer patients who will spend hours in cold, sterile treatment rooms. Drop off the silliest socks you can find any day during this week in the DAO Ops bullpen (1st floor) or at Andressa Covatti’s desk (3rd floor). Learn more here
We have introduced a contest element, with a panel of judges selecting the craziest sock donated each day, as well as an overall winner for the week (prizes awarded). Check out the leader board on the first floor in the DAO area, and be on the lookout for emails with updates on the winners. Please contact Beth Douthit with any questions.
Sock criteria:
- Donate bright, silly socks for adults (men or women)
- In original packaging
- Longer socks preferred
- Push fashion boundaries, but keep it professional
